CADD TECHNOLOGIES (DRAFTING) INSTRUCTOR – Competition Number 09 - 128
The Faculty of Trades and Technology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University is currently seeking a Non-Regular Type 1 (Contract) Drafting/CADD Instructor to provide short-term coverage, which may extend from a single day to several weeks. Instructional assignments could include evenings, and would commence January 4, 2010.
Minimum qualifications include completion of Drafting/CADD related post-secondary certificate/diploma or equivalent, supplemented by 6+ years of related design/drafting experience in the Architectural, Civil/Structural or Mechanical/Manufacturing field. Applicants should be proficient in AutoCAD 2009 software.  Applicants should have excellent ability to communicate effectively with students. Previous instructional/training experience and knowledge of 3D Parametric software and Microsoft Office software would be an asset.
